The Palazzo delle Laudi, located next to Sansepolcro Cathedral, is now home to the Town Council offices. It was built in the late 16th century by the architect Alberto Alberti. It was named after the Confraternity of Laudi which commissioned the work. Due to the sudden death of the builder, it was finished by Antonio Cantagallina. Outside there is a loggia where the city market used to take place. The loggia and the internal cloister frequently house many of the city’s cultural events.
